What is the Dantooine Spring Abundance Festival Event

The Spring Abundance Festival is a seasonal event taking place at Blba Grove on Dantooine. It occurs once each year, during the Spring time and allows players to enjoy a more casual and tasty adventures of baking pies and chasing new and unique achievements!

The Dantooine Spring Abundance Festival Event launched on May 29th, 2024, together with the release of SWTOR Update 7.5 and will last for 28 days.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (1)

The Spring Abundance Festival was made by the SWTOR developers to fill in the gap during the Spring season as they have the Nar Shaddaa Night Life event for the Summer, the Feast of Prosperity in Autumn, and the Life Day event occurring in Winter.

At Blba Groves, you’ll be able to celebrate with the locals by dancing, creating and tasting delicious pies, and providing a helping hand at a local farm. Get your work boots and gloves on so we can dig into this event!

How To Start The Spring Abundance Event

To start the Spring Abundance Festival event, you’ll need to start its story mission. Go to your faction’s fleet and go to outside of the 4 main elevators around the fleet.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (2)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (3)

Find the Mission Terminal that grants the mission, don’t mistake it for the Priority Missions Terminal. The Mission Terminal will grant you the mission An Agricultural Opportunity. All this mission requires you to do is meet with Ubog Ozo at Blba Groves on Dantooine. This is a new area that appears southwest of where the Pirate Incursion event takes place.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (4)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (5)

Ubog will tell you how he may need to postpone the festival. You can take the task of investigating this issue yourself. Doing so will grant you the mission A Real Fixer-Upper.

For this mission, you’ll need to go north to Ubog Ozo’s farm and investigate 3 strange disturbances. You’ll find some dark auras emanating from the ground. Investigate these spots and defeat the corrupted beasts throughout the farm.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (6)

Return to Ubog Ozo and talk to him. Something is not right with this farm which may be why he’s so eager to get rid of it. This will end the mission and start another, It’s Honest Work. You’ll need to go to the other part of Dantooine by using the shuttle at Blba Groves.

You’ll need to find the Waylaid Courier on Dantooine. Unfortunately, you won’t find the courier themselves, but rather their speeder bike and cargo strewn about in the plains. The speeder location is in the following image:

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (7)

Your next task is to go to Tatooine to Locate the Supply Shipment. You’ll get a pair of macrobinoculars you can use to scan crates to see if they match the farmer’s ID.

I’m not sure if the box it matches is randomized, but I found the box for Republic characters at the upper level of the Anchorhead market. Scan these then return to Ubog Ozo.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (8)

For Imperial characters, you’ll want to go to Mos Ila. I found the crates at the far north of the Mos Ila market as seen in the image below. Scan then then return to Ubog Ozo.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (9)

Your final tasks are to Repair 3 Climate Monitors, Repair the Irrigation Load Balancer, and Activate 3 Farm Droids. After performing these tasks, you’ll get a holo-call from Juna Helos. You may remember her from the Galactic Season mission to unlock the Copero Stronghold.

She will talk to you about how she’s trying to investigate the Dark side presence on the farm. Once you talk with her, return to Ubog Ozo one last time and the farm will be in your name. You can now start the event missions!

Spring Abundance Festival Missions Walkthrough

These are the missions available during the Spring Abundance Festival event. The bulk of them are straightforward, but it never hurts to make sure of what you’re getting into!

The bulk of them are weekly quests, so it would be best to complete these on multiple alt characters if you’re looking to farm up those Spring Abundance Festival Ribbons!

[DAILY] Festive Footwork

It’s tradition to dance at the holo-pole during the Spring Festival! For this mission, you’ll need to approach the Holo-Pole and use the “Dance” ability that appears in your temporary quickbar. Dance until the timer runs out to complete the mission!

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (10)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (11)

If you use the “Stop Dancing” ability before the timer is up, you’ll need to step out of the ring and re-enter to try again. Fun fact: One of the dances you can do here is referred to as the “Carlton Dance”. This is from the show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where one of the characters, Carlton, does this dance to Tom Jones’s “It’s Not Unusual”.

As one of the few dailies available for this event, it won’t be unusual to find people dancing here often. It’ll happen every day, no matter what you say. In fact, you’ll find out it happens all the time!

[DAILY] Patissier for a Day

This mission will have you baking a pie to share with other celebrants! You’ll have several pies to choose from and these pies are also used for the weekly mission, Festival Pastry Sampling. Help everyone else out and consider making a pie that may not be available on the tables outside!

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (12)

To start, you’ll need to Select a Recipe. Go inside the building near the mission terminal at the south of Blba Groves. You’ll find a table of various pies inside, interact with the button next to the pie you want to make.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (13)

Once you choose a pie, use the nearby book to Learn the Secrets of your selected pie. After consulting the culinary tome, you’ll need to gather some ingredients. Your first ingredient will always be in the festival grounds outside. What this is depends on the pie you chose, just look for the blue, glowing container with your first ingredient.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (14)

After getting your first ingredient, go back inside to get your other 3 ingredients in the pantry. Don’t let the amount of ingredients intimidate you, there are duplicates of the ingredients strewn about to make it look more packed. Here’s a visual reference for all the ingredients:

After gathering your ingredients, combine them on the table. Once combined, bake your pie in the oven and bring it outside to share. Place it on a table with the green arrows and you’ll complete the mission.

We have done it! We made the Bestine Threeberry Pie in real life and it was delicious! I’ve got the full story and detailed recipe with all of the ingredients a step-by-step instructions how to make it yourself! Check it out!

[DAILY] Zap-a-Fish

After fighting in a few wars with constant blaster fire, explosions, tragedies followed by even more explosions, sometimes you want to take a rest and do some fishing. Fortunately for you, one of the Spring Abundance missions just requires you to sit back and enjoy some fishin’ as a mission.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (26)

Go to the farm at Blba Groves and go to the pond. You’ll need to Grab a Beverage, Turn on Some Music, Get Comfortable on the towel, and you’ll be able to control a probe droid remotely to fish. You’ll get a temporary ability bar that allows you to move the droid, zap a fish, or stop fishing. Move the droid over the green circles on the pond, zap the area to catch a fish, and repeat this until you capture 15 fish.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (27)

When you’re done, you’ll need to Retrieve your Bounty by clicking a nearby box. The final step is to Return the Fish for Repopulation. Jam the fish into the nearby fish repopulator machine to complete the mission.

[WEEKLY] Creature Rehabilitation

The farm you’re restoring used to rehabilitate injured or sickly animals from across the galaxy before releasing them back to the while. For this mission, you’ll be doing just that and help animals that are unable to fend for themselves.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (30)

Your first objective is to Locate an Orobird Nest on Rishi. This endangered species is often hunted down for their livers which are considered a delicacy.

Quick travel to the Nova Blade Trade Depot on Rishi, then follow your map to the southwest where you’ll need to find an Orobird nest. Examine an Orokeet by interacting with the nest.

If the orokeet appears to have an injury, a tonitran will appear. Defeat the tonitran and Take the Orokeet to the Transportation Carrier.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (31)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (32)

Quick travel back to the shuttle pads where you first spawn in and interact with the Transportation Carrier.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (33)

Your next task is to Scan for Tauntaun Nests on Hoth. Go to Hoth and quick travel to your faction’s Jagged Plains Outposts. Scan the marked areas on your map with the temporary ability that appears and keep doing this until you find nests of tauntauns.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (34)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (35)

Wait patiently at the Tauntaun Nest by interacting with the nest. A malnourished tauntaun will appear, bring it to the transportation carrier at the nearest Jagged Plains Outpost. Once you’ve done that, head to Alderaan.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (36)

When you’re at Alderaan, go to the southern half of the Juran Mountains in the Contested Valley. Your map marker will lead you to the calves. Find the nerf calves and Identify the Calf Illness there.

Look for the calves with the purple aura and Conduct a Scan with your temporary ability. The calf is suffering from Nerfpox.

Call the nerf and Take the Calf to the Transportation Carrier marked on your map. Return to Blba Groves on Dantooine.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (37)

When you’re at Blba Groves, go inside the farmhouse and Refer to the Creature Car Guide found on the table. Pick up the feed, meat, vegetables, and nutrient canisters marked on your map.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (38)

Go inside the creature pens and place the food into the creature’s troughs. Feel free to pet the creatures as you do this. Retrieve the Veterinary Equipment inside and Run a Health Scan on the creatures.

Place more food in the tauntaun’s trough, Activate Healing Porotcols on the nerf calf and the orokeet. Go inside the terminal to Spend Time Monitoring Creature Rehabilitation.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (39)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (40)

Run health scans on all the creatures once more then Wrangle the Creatures by interacting with their gates. Prepare the Creatures for Release by going to the transportation carriers south of the farm. Interact with the carriers to complete the mission and send the critters back home!

[WEEKLY] Festival Pastry Sampling

This mission is simple as all you need to do is sample all the pie varieties! To complete this, you’ll need to find available pies outside the pie building. These are only available when other players make these pies while completing the Patissier for a Day daily mission.

[WEEKLY] Cultivation

This mission will have you planting and cultivating farm crops. You won’t be doing this with your own hands, this is Star Wars, we have droids for menial labor! You’ll be controlling a probe droid to farm the crops.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (44)

Follow your map to the farm and Control a Cultivator Droid, you’ll find the Farm Droid Control Unit inside. When you take control of the droid, you’ll need to:

  • Plant 3 Unguapo Blushcap Pods
  • Plant 3 T’limerson Dewbell Cuttings
  • Plant 3 Lavagave Bulbs

When controlling the probe droid, you’ll have 4 abilities to Sow Seeds, Hydrate, Fertilize, or Disconnect. Pick up the seeds from the glowing blue crates and sow the seeds at the spots with the green arrows above them.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (45)

Use the water pump to fill your water reserves then Water the Plants with your “Hydrate” ability. This is done by using a linear AoE that’s cast in front of you. Line up the the AoE to water multiple seeds at once.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (46)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (47)

Return the probe droid to the shed and interact with the recharge terminal to Enter Standby to Await Sprouts. With the sprouts formed, use the nearby fertilizer on the sprouts with the “Fertilize” ability. Return to the shed and enter standby once more.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (48)

After exiting standby, you’ll find pests attempting to eat the sprouts in the farm. Defend the sprouts by using “Fumigate” on the flying pests, “Deter” on crawling pests, and “Controlled Burn Probe” on the Slapvines. Return to the shed to enter standby once you get rid of the pests.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (49)

Your final objective is to harvest 3 of each of the plants. Simply interact with 3 of each plants to harvest them then Deposit the Harvest into the Harvest Bin. Return the droid to the Shed to complete the mission.

[WEEKLY] Egg Hunts

The weekly egg hunts require you to find 5 eggs across the galaxy and return them to Blba Groves. The planets you’ll need to find them on varies, but you can be sent to Alderaan, Makeb, Onderon, Rushi, or Yavin IV. There are many eggs to be found and you’ll find them on the various locations as marked on the following maps.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (52)

Alderaan: King’s Pass and Juran Mountains

Depending on which mission you picked up, you’ll be sent to King’s Pass or Juran Mountains on Alderaan. The egg locations are as follows:

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (53)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (54)

Makeb: Talaos City and The Sanctuary

You can find the eggs on everyone’s favorite planet either at Talaos City or the Sanctuary. The egg locations are as follows:

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (55)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (56)

Onderon: Oasis and Untamed Territory

Onderon’s eggs are more convenient to reach for Imperials than Republic characters. The Onderon egg locations are as follows:

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (57)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (58)

Rishi: Raider’s Cove and Rishi Village

I apologize for the Rishi Village map, the default map for the area is zoomed out rather far but it’s very hard to miss any of the eggs there. Fortunately, Raider’s Cove’s map allowed for more precision. Their locations are as follows:

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (59)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (60)

Yavin IV: Temple Ruins and Training Grounds

Yavin IV seems like a rather terrible place to hide the eggs given the wildlife and Massassi in the area. Get those eggs at the Temple Ruins or Training Grounds depending on your mission and get them back home. Their locations are as follows:

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (61)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (62)

After collecting your eggs, go to one of the canopies near the Holo-Pole that has the empty baskets. Interact with these baskets to return the eggs and complete the mission. Did I miss any egg locations? Share any locations not listed here so I can update the maps!

[WEEKLY] Seed Sourcing: Nar Shaddaa

The Seed Sourcing missions are short and to the point. This mission will take you to the seedy underworld of Nar Shaddaa in search of seeds.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (64)

After picking up the mission from Blba Groves, make your way to Nar Shaddaa and travel to The Promenade. Make your way to the lower level where you’ll find a Local System Database. Use it then use the System Cluster Database to the north. After doing that, go upstairs and use the Galactic Database on the west side of the Promenade’s upper level

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (65)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (66)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (67)

After using the Galactic Database, an order for the seeds will have been placed and sent to Blba Groves. Return to Blba Groves and pick up the seeds near the space truck between the festival grounds and the farm. Deposit the seeds into the storage at the farm to complete the mission.

[WEEKLY] Seed Sourcing: Mek-Sha

Mek-Sha seems like an odd place to gain some seeds for Blba Groves, but that’s just how things pan out in this mission. After gaining the mission, travel to Mek-Sha and quick travel to The Bazaar then make your way to Harido Wald Territory to the west.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (70)

The Harido Wald Shipping Terminal should be easily accessed after crossing the bridge. Use it then follow your map north to find some shipping crates and Retrieve the Shipment. After using any of the crates, you’ll find out that you need a security key.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (71)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (72)

Locate the Security Key by going to the south, there are three Rodians talking and a datapad will be near them. Pick up the key, return to the shipment, then go back to Blba Groves to Deposit the Seeds at the farm.

[WEEKLY] Seed Sourcing: Fleet

This mission will have you finding seeds at the Fleet of all places. This is the least time-consuming of the seed sourcing missions, start by heading to your faction’s fleet. Both Republic and Imperial locations will be listed here.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (75)

Your goal is to Purchase 3 Black Market Seeds which are for Unguapo Blushcaps, Y’limerson Dewbells, and Lavagaves. You’ll need to find a Shady Merchant at the fleet, they can be found at the fleet’s cantinas.

SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (76)
SWTOR Dantooine Spring Festival Event Guide (77)

Each of the seeds will cost 15,000 credits each or 45,000 credits total. Purchase the seeds and return to Blba Groves to deliver the seeds to the farm at the dropbox.

Recommended Order To Do The Missions

Due to the nature of some of the missions swapping planet locations, the precise order is a bit more flexible when compared to other weekly areas. Here’s my recommendation:

  1. Complete Festive Footwork, Patissier for a Day, and Festival Pastry Sampling first.
  2. Go to the farm and complete Zap-a-Fish and Cultivation.
  3. Start Creature Rehabilitation and complete the Alderaan Egg Hunt and/or Rishi Egg Hunt missions if you obtain them. Do the egg hunts while searching for the creatures on those planets.
  4. Complete any remaining Egg Hunts.
  5. Complete the Seed Sourcing Missions.
